Yes. Most equipment offers tiered pricing. The longer you hire, the lower the daily rate. Exact rates and savings are shown on each fleet page.
We service Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Gold Coast and surrounding SE Queensland. Float delivery is quoted per suburb contact us for an exact rate.
Yes. Provided you have a suitable trailer and tow vehicle. Pickup is available during business hours. Our team can assist with loading and provide general guidance; however it is your responsibility to ensure safe and compliant transport.
Standard hours are 5:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday. Sunday: Closed Extended hire periods may be arranged at an additional cost All hire periods, extensions, and late returns are subject to additional charges.
Yes. All machines are supplied full of fuel and must be returned full. If the machine is not returned full, refuelling charges will apply, including fuel cost and service time.
Yes. Machines must be returned in a clean and reasonable condition. If cleaning is required, this will be charged at $75 per hour and added to your final invoice. This applies unless there is no access to water on-site.
Any damage outside of fair wear and tear, including hydraulic hoses, is the hirer’s responsibility. Repairs must be carried out by a qualified hydraulic technician approved by Lucent Hire. All costs associated with repairs, including parts, labour, and any loss of hire income, will be charged to the hirer. We recommend Hydraulink Yatala for hydraulic repairs.
No licence is required for machines under 5 tonnes. However, this does not remove the hirer’s responsibility to operate the equipment safely and competently. For machines over 5 tonnes, the hirer must hold all relevant licences and certifications. Lucent Hire accepts no responsibility for misuse or operation by unqualified persons.
Yes, attachments can be hired separately. The hirer is responsible for ensuring compatibility and correct use of attachments. Any damage caused by incorrect use will be at the hirer’s cost.
Lucent Hire provides a basic safety overview of the machine’s safety features at handover. This is not formal operator training. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that they and any person operating the equipment are competent and experienced. Lucent Hire accepts no liability for delays, damages, or loss resulting from lack of operator knowledge or experience.
Track expansion varies by machine. Instructions will be shown at handover. If unsure, contact us for guidance. Any damage caused by incorrect operation is the hirer’s responsibility.
You are responsible for ensuring you know how to operate the equipment before use. We are available to assist over the phone where possible. If on-site assistance is required, a call-out fee may apply. Any downtime, delays, or loss of hire due to lack of operator knowledge is not the responsibility of Lucent Hire.
This depends on the machine. Some models allow bucket release via the control panel, while others require a manual process. A safety overview will be provided at handover. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure they understand how to safely operate and change attachments before use. If you are unsure, please contact us and we will assist where possible.
At this stage, we do not offer rock breaker attachments for our mini excavators due to the potential wear and damage they can cause to new equipment. If required, we may be able to provide or recommend alternative machinery suitable for this type of work.
